My night stands are refinished, and I am very pleased. They look great. Now I can go buy all kinds of cheap, used furniture and make it what I want. They won't be masterpieces but they'll be mine. Hopefully I will continue to get better. Gracie is doing great and getting so big. Ryan is doing great and pushing through to the end of the semester. He really needs a break, he is exhausted, and rightfully so. I am serving in nursery and it is hard work. Large chunks of the time is spent consoling crying children. But, the older kids enjoy it and have a good time playing. I am pretty tired by the time I get home, but I have fun too. I hope you all are doing well.

hi, this is mom. be kind to me i'm puter challenged. i thought i should get in on this cyber tech world before it passes me by. i just want to say how very blessed and privilaged i am to be part of this family i e manny, jonah and gracie's g-ma etc. someone asked me the other day, at work, if i felt old being a g-ma well i don't think they meant to be insulting. it really wouldn't have mattered because being considered the best thing since chocolate b-day cake isn't such a bad place in a child's eyes. afterall chocolate is in a league all its on is it not. with all love and appreciation for chocolate this is g-ma j signing out oh yeh thats my baby that did that woodworkin'yeh rach
fun to see your blog! I am so impressed with your nightstands. They look fantastic! I admire anyone that can finish a project like that - because I could never do that.
The refinishing looks great. I wish I could do things like that. Keep it up and I will get something for you to do on your next trip home. You are very talented, as I have told you.:}
GOOD JOB LITTLE SISTER! WE WANT MORE GRACIE PICTURES!
Rachel, they look great. I can't believe you are the nursery leader. That is some tough stuff. What a good little momma you are. Love ya.
When Kacey was a baby I became obsessed with checking out "do it yourself" books from the library. That is where I learned how to refinish furniture and make my own soap. I also checked out a ghost story book and almost peed my pants because I started seeing "ghosts" out of the corner of my eye constantly. That book had to go back. Anyway, your baby is completely adorable. Your nightstands look awesome. Want to start a shabby chic furniture refinishing business with me? We could go to flea markets all over the world collecting our junk and turn it into fabulous stuff. My problem is that I am always so proud of myself that I can't bear the thought of selling it. Love ya.
